Production Process for Cyanotis arachnoidea Extract (Beta-Ecdysterone):

1.  Extraction: High-quality, dried whole-plant Cyanotis arachnoidea is mechanically pulverized and fed into a multi-stage counter-current industrial hot-water extraction system. The selected raw material is ground to a 40-mesh size and subjected to three cycles of continuous counter-current warm maceration using purified water at 85°C, thoroughly dissolving intracellular ecdysteroid compounds and transferring them into the aqueous phase.

2.  Centrifugation: The crude extract is fed into a high-efficiency disc-stack centrifuge for continuous, high-speed separation to remove fine plant fibers. The crude liquid is pumped into a high-capacity disc separator, where centrifugal forces reaching 6,000 rpm effectively separate out suspended trace colloids and finely fragmented plant tissues.

3.  Adsorption: The clarified liquid is pumped into specialized, large-capacity macroporous adsorption resin columns for multi-stage, targeted capture. Utilizing macroporous resins with high specificity for ecdysteroid molecules, sugars, tannins, and inorganic salts present in the extract are allowed to flow through and are discarded.

4.  Elution: A gradient solvent system of pharmaceutical-grade anhydrous ethanol and water is applied via counter-current flow to elute and collect the ecdysterone-rich fraction. Elution pumps are activated to pass ethanol-water solutions of increasing concentrations through the resin column, allowing for the precise, targeted collection of the "golden fraction" eluate containing the target compound, 20-hydroxyecdysone.

5.  Concentration: The enriched eluate is fed directly into a triple-effect continuous long-tube falling-film vacuum concentration system to rapidly remove the ethanol component. The collected liquid enters a multi-effect falling-film evaporator, where flash evaporation occurs at temperatures below 65°C under a vacuum of -0.088 MPa; recovered ethanol is sent to a recovery tower, while the product material is concentrated.

6. Transfer the supersaturated concentrate to a jacketed crystallization vessel with precise temperature control; add chiral-inducing seed crystals and initiate slow cooling: Introduce a specific quantity of high-purity crystalline micro-particles into the supersaturated paste and apply a cooling ramp of 1.5°C per hour to guide the orderly growth of ecdysterone crystals.

7. Perform vigorous separation of crystals from the mother liquor using a high-speed, horizontal, enclosed, fine-mesh centrifugal filter to obtain pure white crystalline wet material: Start the centrifuge to achieve thorough solid-liquid separation of the crystal suspension, while simultaneously performing continuous in-situ washing with cold water to remove trace mother liquor impurities adhering to the crystal surfaces.

8. Dissolve the wet crystals in a high-purity ethanol system, perform precision decolorization with activated carbon, and carry out a second fine recrystallization: Redissolve the primary crystals in clean ethanol, add pharmaceutical-grade activated carbon to adsorb trace pigment impurities, filter the solution, and perform a second crystallization to firmly establish a purity level exceeding 98%.

9. 10.
